Today, the Ministry of Education launched the first activity of its initiative (Towards an Advanced Technology Environment), which aims to educate the workers of information technology at the Ministry, universities, and the General Organization for Technical Education and Vocational Training about the latest technology in general and in the educational field in particular. The initiative was launched in the Ministry’s building at the King Salman bin Abdulaziz Hall in Al-Maathar this morning, Wednesday. Dr. Yousef Al-Ohali, CEO of Tatweer Education Technologies Company, explained this, and said that this event comes in partnership between the Ministry and some of the world’s leading technology companies, and coincides with the launch of one of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 programs, which is the “Quality of Life” Program, and in line with the development and transformation that information technology is witnessing in the Ministry of Education in general. He also pointed that the exchange of experiences between the public and private sectors in the field of technology is of great importance to improve performance, raise the level of quality of services provided to beneficiaries, and to activate technical initiatives and projects. Moreover, He indicated that a number of public events and workshops accompanying each company will be held with specialists in the technology sector from the Ministry and its affiliates, as well as the exhibitions accompanying each event, which will last for 12 months, with a monthly event for each of the specialized companies
