As an extension of a legacy that spans more than a century in serving the Holy Qur’an and education, the National Company for Learning & Education (NCLE) has announced the signing of a cooperation agreement with the Al-Soltiah School Endowment in Makkah, one of the oldest formal schools in the Kingdom’s history. Since its establishment, the school has played a vital role in promoting knowledge, teaching the Qur’an, and supporting students from across the region.

This agreement aims to reinforce the historical role of Al-Soltiah School by overseeing its construction, supervising all stages of building and development, and managing the school’s operations upon completion—ensuring adherence to the highest standards of quality and safety, and providing a balanced environment that combines learning and enrichment.

The partnership reflects NCLE’s pride in the school’s distinguished legacy and its commitment to supporting its continued educational impact, in alignment with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030 to enhance educational infrastructure and promote high-quality learning environments.

NCLE’s role in this project builds upon more than six decades of educational expertise since the founding initiative of Sheikh Mohammed bin Ibrahim Al-Khudair — may he rest in peace — which has grown into a leading educational institution overseeing 19 school complexes and serving more than 35,000 students, supported by highly qualified administrative and academic teams recognized for operational excellence and improved learning outcomes.

This project is expected to significantly enhance the environment of Al-Soltiah School, strengthening its historic mission and enabling it to continue fulfilling its educational role in a manner that reflects its prominence in Makkah and its deep-rooted heritage in Qur’an education and its sciences.
